PSL 2023 – Pakistan Super League Drafts Schedule 2023
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested during February and March of every year by six teams representing various cities in Pakistan. The league was founded on 9 September 2015 with five teams and now comprises six teams. Lahore Qalandars are the current champions of the competition.
The PSL draft for the 2023 season will be held on the 15th of December, 2023.
A total of 493 players have registered for the PSL 2023 draft. Out of them Aaron Finch, Alex Hales, David Miller, David Malan, Martin Guptill, Rashid Khan, Reece Topley, Tabraiz Shamsi, Wanindu Hasaranga, Benjamin Cutting, Hazratullah Zazai, James Vince, Rilee Rossouw, and Jason Roy, are the most favorites overseas players to be picked.
England has the highest number of players, with 140.
Sri Lanka is second with 60 players.
Afghanistan is third with 43 players.
West Indies is fourth with 38 players.
Bangladesh comes in at 28 players.
South Africa is fifth with 25 players.
Australia is sixth with 14 players.
Zimbabwe is seventh with 11 players.
Ireland is ninth with 9 players.

All six teams can pick 20 players in the PSL draft squad. Drafting is divided into 18 rounds.
Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the HBL PSL 2023 Player Draft.

PSL 2023 Draft: Top 10 Foreign Players to Watch Out For
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to return for its 8th edition in February 2023. As the competition inches closer, all eyes will be on the PSL 2023 draft, which will be held on the 15th of December.
A total of six teams will take part in the draft, with each side allowed to select up to eight players. With the draft order yet to be finalized, there is still plenty of uncertainty surrounding who will go where.

Alexander Daniel Hales is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed opening batter who presently plays for Nottinghamshire and the England national cricket team in white ball, limited overs formats.
Aaron Finch
Aaron James Finch is a Australian cricketer who is the captain of Australian cricket team in T20I and formerly captained the national team in ODI cricket.
Lungi Ngidi
Lungisani True-man Ngidi is a South African International cricketer who plays for the South African national cricket team. In the 2018 South African Cricket Annual Awards, he used to be named as Cricketer of the Year.
Jimmy Neesham
James Douglas Sheahan Neesham, better known as Jimmy Neesham he was born in Auckland. He is a New Zealand cricketer, who played all formats of the game for NZ International team and has played first-class cricket for Auckland, Otago and Wellington.
Harry Brook
Harry Cherrington Brook is an English cricketer who plays international cricket for England and domestic cricket for Yorkshire County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman, he also bowls right-arm medium pace. He made his debut for England in January 2022.
Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran is a Trinidadian cricketer who currently plays for the West Indies cricket team in ODIs and T20. He is a former captain of the limited-overs formats. He also performs for the Trinidad and Tobago in West Indian home matches. He made his international debut for the West Indies in September 2016.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa
Pramod Bhanuka Bandara Rajapaksa, popular as Bhanuka Rajapaksa, he was born in Colombo. He is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who performs limited over international matches for the Sri Lankan team. He is a left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium.
David Miller
David Andrew Miller is a South African International cricketer. He presently plays for KwaZulu-Natal and the South African national team in ODIs and T20i’s. He is an aggressive left-handed batsman and part time wicket-keeper.
Wanindu Hasaranga
Pinnaduwage Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva, also known as Wanindu Hasaranga, is a Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the Sri Lankan International team in white ball cricket as a bowling All-rounder. He made his international debut for Sri Lanka in July 2017. He is a Right-arm leg spinner & No1 ICC T20i bowler at the moment.
Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan Arman is an Afghan cricketer and a former captain of the AFG International team. He bowls right-arm leg spin and bats right-handed. He born 20 September 1998 and made his International debut on 18 October 2015 vs Zimbabwe.
In franchise leagues, he plays for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Adelaide Strikers in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL), and Band-e-Amir Dragons in Afghanistan’s Shpageeza Cricket League.
